Chicago Area Immunization Campaign (CAIC)
Organizational History
In 1991, the Chicago Area Immunization Campaign (CAIC) was initially founded by the non-profit organization, Children and Youth 2000. On June 1, 1999 the Illinois Maternal and Child Health Coalition, a statewide non-profit coalition that advocates for the health of women and children, became the new home for the CAIC.
The CAIC receives funding from the Chicago Department of Public Health, Cook County Department of Public Health, the Illinois Department of Public Health, and The Otho S.A. Sprague Memorial Institute.
