Policy Agenda

l    Ensure a smooth transition for eligible participants to the new Primary
       Care Case Management
(PCCM) program.
 

l    Develop a joint electronic application for All Kids and other support
       programs
, such as foodstamps, free/reduced school lunch, earned

        income tax credit and daycare.
 

l    Ensure a smooth transition for families from Medicaid to All Kids.
 

l    Reduce the number of All Kids applications that are denied for
       procedural reasons.
 

l    Reduce the number of cases removed from All Kids due to procedural

       reasons at time of renewal.
 

l    Facilitate the addition of newborns to All Kids.
 

l    Implement a permanent insurance card versus monthly mailings.


FEDERAL

l    Reauthorize SCHIP at the funding levels necessary to cover the
       expanding costs of coverage, and to encourage creative approaches
       such as All Kids.
 

l    Reverse citizenship documentation requirements for Medicaid
       recipients.
