CKF-IL relies on its members and other partners to help us:

Spread
the word about programs like All Kids and FamilyCare
l
Enroll
eligible families into these programs
become an AKAA and
receive a $50 stipend for each
successful application) and ensure that
they emain enrolled for
as long as they are eligible
l
Identify problems
with the implementation of these programs at the local
levels and
develop solutions
to address any such problems
l
Share success stories
from all over the state to highlight the importance
of programs like All Kids
and FamilyCare
l
Advocate
for policies that will ensure Illinois remains a national leader in
providing healthcare to
children and families who need it.
In turn, CKF-IL members have access to:

Technical support and
training opportunities
l
Important program updates about All Kids, FamilyCare, the Medical
Home Initiative, and other
state healthcare programs
l
Regular
opportunities, through our quarterly
statewide, to meet with state
officials
(from IDHFS and IDHS) to have their
questions answered and to
voice their concerns about important issues
that affect their work.
