This is the story of how Illinois became the first state in America to guarantee that every uninsured child, regardless of medical conditions, income or immigration status, has access to health care coverage.

 

 

Expansion of Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program

Help provide health coverage to children, support State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP)

 



 

 


A program offering comprehensive health care coverage to all children through the age of 18 regardless of income, immigration status, or pre-existing condition.

 


A comprehensive health insurance program for income-eligible parents living with children 18 years and younger.
