FUNDERS
The Covering Kids and Families Illinois (CKF-IL) was founded by the
Illinois Maternal and Child Health Coalition, a statewide coalition
that advocates to improve the health of women and children. CKF-IL
was initially started with funding from the
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation,
VNA Foundation, and
Michael Reese Health Trust.
Covering Kids and Families Illinois currently has funding from the
State of Illinois – Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family
Services and is working to develop a sustainable diversified funding
base.
