Last week the Reproductive Health and Access Act (HB 6205) passed out of the House Human Services Committee. Now is a critical time to let your lawmakers know how important this legislation is to Illinois.
Women have the right to a continuum of choices throughout their reproductive lives -- from honest sexual health education to access to quality birth control, prenatal care, and the right to choose abortion. The Reproductive Health and Access Act ensures that women have information about, and access to, as many responsible options as possible when it comes to making important personal decisions about her reproductive health care.
So make your voice heard! Make a call AND email your state representative today to tell them that reproductive health in Illinois is important to you. You can call the capitol switchboard at (217) 782-2000 and ask for them by name, or call their Springfield office directly.
Find your legislator and contact information by visiting IMCHC's advocacy page.
